National Gentile League was headed by Donald Shea. Shea was a former member of the Ku Klux Klan and spoke at Italian Fascist meetings in Baltimore, Maryland.[1] Lois de Lafayette Washburn was the organizationโs executive secretary.[2]
The group was incorporated in Maryland in 1934 under the name National Gentile Association. Directors listed were B. E. Clark, W. N. Fox, and M. L. Burnett.
