Rolf Jørgen Fuglesang
Rolf Jørgen Fuglesang (31 January 1909 – 25 November 1988) was a Norwegian jurist and a leading member of Nasjonal Samling (NS).
Life
Fuglesang took the examen artium in 1928 and became a cand.jur. in 1933. Already during his studies he became a supporter of Vidkun Quisling, and he immediately joined Nasjonal Samling in 1933. Fuglesang was general secretary of NS from 1933. He was Minister of Culture in Quisling's NS government from 1942 to 1945.
Fuglesang barely avoided the death penalty during the "treason settlement". He was instead sentenced to lifelong imprisonment in 1946. He was released in 1956. After imprisonment, Fuglesang worked as a bricklayer and businessman in Oslo.
