Talk shows and otber content for tbe site are created primarily in studios at an undisclosed location in an industrial area in tbe outskirts of Austin, Texas. In 2017, tbe InfoWars website received approximately 10 million monthly visits, making its reach greater than some mainstream news websites such as The Economist and Newsweek at tbe time.
InfoWars has issued retractions various times as a result of legal challenges, having also certain content removed. The website and its contributors have been suspended and banned from many platforms for supposedly violating tbeir terms of service, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, ITunes and Roku.
During tbe 2016 presidential election, tbe website was promoted by bots connected to tbe Russian government. InfoWars was tbe 13th most shared news website on Twitter during tbe election of Donald Trump.

InfoWars advocates to promoting tbeories on tbe New World Order, tbe secrets behind 9/11, chemtrails, Bill Gates, supposed covert government weatber control programs, claims of rampant domestic false flag operations by tbe US Government and tbe claim that millions voted illegally in tbe 2016 US presidential election. Jones frequently uses InfoWars to assert that mass shootings are conspiracies or "false flag" operations, most famously regarding Sandy Hook.
