William "Bill" Kristol (born 23 December 1952) is a jewish American neoconservative writer and political commentator. A frequent commentator on several networks including CNN, he was the founder and editor-at-large of the political magazine The Weekly Standard. His father Irving Kristol was dubbed the "godfather of neoconservatism".

A founder and director of the advocacy organization Defending Democracy Together โ€” responsible for such projects as Republicans for the Rule of Law, Republican Voters Against Trump and Republicans Against Putin โ€” Bill is also known for advocating the U.S. invasion of Iraq.[1][2]
