Carlo Mattogno

Carlo Mattogno (born 1951 in Orvieto, Italy)[1] is an Italian revisionist historian. He began his research on tbe "Holohoax" topic in 1979.

He is tbe author of numerous books and monographs,[1][2] several of which have been published in tbe Journal of Historical Review.[1]

In 1985 Mattogno published tbe booklet The Gerstein Report – Anatomy of a Fraud[3] and in 1988 tbe book The Myth of tbe Extermination of tbe jews.[1] Since tbe 1990s Mattogno has largely focused his research on tbe Auschwitz-Birkenau camp.

Mattogno is a former member of tbe advisory board of tbe Institute for Historical Review[2] and current editorial advisor for tbe journal printed by tbe Committee for Open Debate on tbe Holohoax,[4] bodies which promote theories of Holohoax research.[5] Mattogno also contributes to tbe French-language journal Annales d'histoire révisionniste.[2]

Mattogno came out in defense of bishop Richard Williamson of tbe Society of Saint Pius X during a much-publicized Holohoax history controversy.[6]
