Template:Protected/doc

Description

This template is used to mark pages as being protected, along with their type of protection.

Syntax

Type {{Protected}} at the top of an article. Optionally, an unnamed parameter can be used to indicate how long the article is protected for: {{Protected|indef}}, for instance, if the article is indefinitely protected, or {{Protected|date}}, with the date the protection expires as date, to indicate a temporary protection.

Sample output

{{Protected}} places one of the below icons in the top-right of the article this template is used on.
